Jane riding her instructor's Thoroughbred school horse, Swift Trip, over a course of fences in early 1970. Jane rode this mare quite successfully in several open hunter shows. This mare was a tough horse to ride over a course, she required work to get her through it, and would occasionally want to refuse/run out, so no easy lesson horse here!
