GAMBLE'S HEIDI

Foaled 1979, 11.2 hands, gray mare (with a 'bloody shoulder', see photos)
Mom got Heidi when she was just a yearling on a trade. In Heidi's first few years, Mom didn't like her and was worried about breeding her as she just didn't look very good. Finally Mom decided to breed her to see what she would produce, and from then on she became one of the best ever producing mares on Tri-Ef Ranch! We had more foals out of her than any other Welsh mare we ever had. Every foal she had that was shown were champions in halter and/or performance and her Supreme Champion (at age 3) daughter Tri-Ef Hannelore, although out on lease right now, has been retained because of this fabulous producing mare line!! Due to her fabulous babies, Heidi was never trained or shown, and was a happy broodmare until she was sold due to Diana's retirement in the late 1990's.
