PEDIGREE: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/caris+absolutely+blue
This boy has FANTASTIC gaits, trots BIG with level knee and extreme extension with drive off the hocks, long over-stride at the walk, a fantastic canter, just perfect, w/Large 'horsey' strides! Just GORGEOUS Welsh TYPE (Superb Head/Face/tiny ears), Dapple gray w/darker mane, he is just Lovely - Really Really Cute! Loads of substance and bone. He may only be 11.3 Hands, but he thinks he is 15 hands :) He would be a perfect prospect for Driving or Dressage or ?? "Blue" has lots of presence and a "Look At Me" attitude. He needs an experienced handler/trainer if purchased as a stallion. He is certainly Not a bad boy, he is a stallion and is just "full of himself". However, he does not scream or misbehave, and I can bathe ponies right in front of his pen and he never 'says' anything to them, he just quietly stands and watches. He has had No training yet, he is a "clean slate", ready to train your way. He has not yet been used for breeding. We are quitting breeding and that is why he is available. When handled, he is very good, is patient when standing both in hand and tied. He will not be hard to train, and, like all Welsh, he is smart and willing. Once he does go into training this spring, you can bet his price will go up. He was trailered from Oregon to Southern California at 18 months of age, he ties and loves grooming, and is UTD on farrier, worming, and vaccinations. He is stabled in a barn stall every night and is turned out daily.
