Arabians have always been a part of the Tri-Ef Ranch. Diana Fischer's very first riding horse in 1966-67 was a black registered half-Arabian / Morgan. Her first purebred Arabian was a 3 yr. old mare named Duharez, purchased in 1969 from the then well known ranch, JH Dunn Arabians. Duharez's grandson (Amistozo) is still alive and well at Tri-Ef today. (At one time we had over 15 Arabians on the ranch and at the same time about 12 Welsh and 10-ish American Walking Ponies!!) Amistozo (pictures below) is going on 22 years old and is still Jane's best friend and buddy.
At one time we crossed our Section B Welsh stallion, Tri-EF Bardd's Echo with a daughter of Duharez, Deeliah. The resulting foal was Tri-Ef Lonesome Dove, which we triple registered; Half Welsh, Half Arabian, and Welara. Hers is the first photo on top left, below.
